Sunsation Beach

Since 2007 we have been on the continuous hunt for the best venue possible. We have now found it! We are super excited to share with our campers this fantastic location. Sunsation Beach in the coastal town of Gandia (often referred to as La Playa de Madrid for its popularity among locals) hosts hoards of Spaniards from the capital during the summer holiday weeks. This alone is impressive considering the beautiful cities of Barcelona and Valencia would offer shorter commutes. We agree with the Spanish sentiment and we know that the 1500 players who have joined BeachCamp so far will too! Sunsation Beach is worth the extra miles and then some!

Perfectly situated for excursions

Sunsation Beach is located less than an hour from Valencia (Spain's third largest city) which makes it the perfect destination for a day trip. Join us for a night and cheer on the home team as we watch a LA LIGA match at Mestalla Stadium. Take an educational journey through the Principe Felipe Science Museum or experience the underwater world at the Aquarium de Valencia. Why not soak in the atmosphere of the Old Town district and take a walk along the unique river bed park that winds through the city? The options are endless.

Spain's hidden secret

The east coast of the country boasts many popular beach destinations with a long history of international travelers hoping to bask in the Spanish sun. What makes Sunsation Beach so special is the fact that you, as a "tourist", will actually be in the minority. This fantastic beach town has been the Spaniards' BIG secret! Measuring in at just over 3 kilometers (2 miles) long and over 100 meters (110 yards) wide, it is the perfect venue for beach volleyball.
